Child-protection work KARA builds with universities outside the United States, staffed by student teams: currently in Uganda.
Cavendish University Uganda: enhancing child protection awareness on Wikipedia. Sixteen students, in November 2025, worked through the Riipen experiential learning program, facilitated by Martha Kibuka-Musoke and Mike Tikkanen.
