Facebook Page Volunteer

Help KARA reach more people on Facebook. You would post and schedule KARA content, share relevant child-welfare news and resources, respond to comments and messages with care, and help identify ways to grow reach.

Care about child protection and want your work to visibly serve it
Are comfortable with Facebook posting, sharing, and basic page tools
Can commit a few hours a week, on a flexible schedule
Are willing to coordinate content ideas with KARA's director

Podcast and Social Media Volunteer

3–5 hours per week · Remote

Help launch and grow KARA's podcast and broader social media presence. You would promote episodes across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok; draft posts and coordinate graphics; help build a simple content calendar; and monitor basic metrics to guide what to do next.

Are comfortable using major social platforms for promotion
Write clearly and collaborate well
Are curious about content formats and willing to learn new tools
Can represent KARA's mission and values in every post

Grant Writing and Fundraising Volunteer

Flexible · Mostly remote

Use your writing and relationship skills to help KARA fund its advocacy. You would research grant opportunities and funders aligned with the mission, draft and edit grant proposals and letters of inquiry, and help with small fundraising campaigns and donor outreach emails.

Write and edit at a high standard
Follow through carefully on multi-step work
Have some experience with grants or fundraising (helpful, not required)
Are genuinely interested in child advocacy and systems change
