Campus Conversations
Presentations taken onto campuses, so that law-enforcement and social-work students meet the reality of these cases before their first shift.
Mike on the work KARA does with students: fifty institutions have put teams onto its research, and the campus program is how most of them start.
Invisible Children Campus Conversations launched in 2019 at the St. Cloud State Law Enforcement and Social Work Annual Conference, bringing KARA’s child-protection work directly to students training for the fields most likely to encounter it.
From 2022 through 2024, KARA held multiple campus conversations at various Minnesota colleges, building on that first conversation.
